Microdermabrasion with the Diamond Dermabration is a non-invasive technique designed to minimize lines, wrinkles, and imperfections on the face and body. This progressive approach requires no surgery to help fight the signs of aging and is effective for fine lines, age spots, sunspots, rough texture, and mild acne scars. Microdermabration treatment will help improve the overall appearance of your skin.
The Procedure
After the skin is cleaned, the Diamond Dermabrasion device is used in the desired area. Following the treatment, your skin will be treated with a custom mask. Then the application of specially selected Dermalogica or Image Skincare products designed for your skin type to soothe and moisturize. The entire procedure lasts under an hour, depending on the number of areas requiring correction. Sessions for most clients last about 45-60 minutes. Following treatment, the skin is sensitive to sun exposure. As a result, a sunblock is also applied to protect the skin. Even those clients with the lowest of pain thresholds find that Diamond Dermabrasion is virtually painless!
While many other treatments of this nature are not suitable for every skin shade and type, the Diamond Dermabrasion is suitable for all.
As with many other treatments, the best results are achieved when a series of microdermabrasion procedures with Diamond Dermabrasion are scheduled. Glycolic Acid Peel Add On

glycolic acid peels removes the top layer of dead cells on your skin, revealing a new layer that is smoother-textured and more vibrant-looking. These peels help with fine lines, minor skin discolorations (such as “age” spots), and dry patches known as solar keratoses. They’re also useful for treating acne and for removing or minimizing old acne scars.
Glycolic acid peels also stimulate the growth of collagen, a protein that helps give skin its structure. The loss of collagen due to aging and sun exposure is one of the factors involved in the formation of lines and wrinkles.
To increase the effectiveness of the peel, we may recommend that you combine it with another treatment that removes the top micro-layer of skin: microdermabrasion.
Glycolic Acid Chemical Peel is used for both immediate and long-term benefits. Glycolic acids will:
- Diminish and soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- Remove up to several layers of skin in 30 seconds
- Loosen and soften (exfoliate) the outer layers of dead skin cells quickly and effectively
- Reduce appearance of ‘liver spots’ (age spots)
- Smooth-out blemished skin and even-out skin tones

Post-treatment
For a few days after treatment, your skin will look slightly reddened, and it may/may not peel a bit. It will also be dry–a side effect that can be relieved with a moisturizer. You’ll need to wear a sunscreen for several weeks, as your skin will be more vulnerable than usual to sunburn.
